There were close 100 participants.
Some attended for one day event and some attended two days and some attended for the entire three days course. There were participants from SPAIN, CZE REPUBLIC as well as across North America.

National seminar with Senior Master Kim Ung Chol in Serbia

On 05-06 12.2009. in Backa Topola, Serbia, was held a seminar with the vice president of the ITF, senior master KimUng Chol. The seminar lasted for two days. It was led by one of the world's largest experts in taekwon-do.Great atmosphere, 50-tak Serbian participants in the seminar and the Hungarian team enjoyed watching sahjonim Kim Ung Chol performing most amazing technique. On the first two training we were doing basic techniques, tuls, sparring techniques and self-defense.
The 5th SUB-JUNIOR DELHI STATE ITF TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIP and the 21ST DELHI STATE JUNIOR and SENIOR ITF Taekwon-do Championship where total 3724 students from 54 schools and 24 Clubs of Delhi in SUB-Junior and 74 School and 28 Clubs from Junior Category onwards participated at G.D.Goenka Public School, Sec-10, Dwarka, New Delhi from 27th November to 29th November 2009 was a great success. The Championship was attended by many respected dignitaries of sports and other fields. The Minister of Sports of India congratulated the event.
ITF master raising funds for cancer research paddling over night 111km

The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic is a fun paddle with a serious purpose. Each year around 600 paddlers travel 111 km overnight in the moonlight, down the Hawkesbury River from Windsor to Brooklyn, to raise money for charity.

The 3rd All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Interclub’s Championships successfully took place in (AANTA) HQ on 02-October-2009. 150 Competitors participated in the championships in all categories; All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do Association ITF was honored to have some high Position Respected Guests from National Olympic Committee H.E Gen. Mohammad Zahir Aghbar President of Olympic Committee of Afghanistan and Mr. Mohammad Arif Paiman chairman of Publishment (NOC) of Afghanistan.
On the 19th and 20th September a technical seminar under the leadership of senior master Hwang Ho Yong, VIII Dan, took place in Almere, The Netherlands. It was the first time that senior master Hwang gave a seminar in The Netherlands. He was invited by the Dutch NGB to give a weekend seminar in the Netherlands.

Dato Dr. Grand Master Leong Wai Meng, Vice-President of ITF, has been honored to be awarded the Professorship by Academic Degrees and Titles Award Committee of DPR Korea at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang, DPR Korea on Sep.1st 2009 in recognition of his academic activities and instructional works in the field of Taekwon-Do and Medical treatment.
The official National Championship of Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation, Second Manmohan Memorial National ITF Taekwon-Do Championship has been concluded on 16th of September 2009. The Championship was held on the beautiful city of Nepal Tansen, Palpa.
Blood Donation, Elder Feeding and Award Distribution Concluded
Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation has celebrated its 12th Anniversary of establishment in Nepal with twelve days program. To make the anniversary remarkable, in the first eight days a Black Belt Course has been organized which is followed by the Blood Donation, then dinner for elder citizens in the elders care center and in the last day the distribution of award to the best players, instructor, dojang and honor to the people who has been supporting Nepal ITF in its rapid development.

A dedicated group of practitioners gathered together in Brisbane to explore and further their study of the art of Taekwon-Do. Instructors from different parts of Australia attended Senior Master Low’s 3rd International Instructor Seminar in Australia. It is always a positive and energetic environment when people with similar passions meet to train and explore the various facets of Taekwon-Do training.
The 5th TaekwonKids and 4th TK-1 Junior 2009 Tournament was held at the Burwood Police and Community Youth Club Australia on 31st May 2009. There were over 120 competitors from 11 different clubs competed at this junior tournament... as big as National Championship!

General Information:
As per the instruction of Afghanistan National Olympic Committee President Mr. General Abdul Zahir Aqbar for bringing unity between different groups and strengthening of ITF taekwon-Do in Afghanistan to conduct a championship, Therefore a proposal submitted by All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association as the sponsor the championship held the competition in Herat Province of Afghanistan under the name of Herat ITF taekwon-Do Championship and Unity Cup, which was on June 5, 2009 at Mirwais Shahid Gymnasium in Herat province at Western Afghanistan.

First time on the history of ITF Taekwon-Do in Nepal and in Nepal ITF, Nepali Army Team has participated on the 5th General Choi National Taekwon-do Championship-2009, that concluded on Bulls Indoor Sports Hall of Kathmandu, Nepal on 14th to 15th June 2009.

The weekend of the 9th May 2009 saw the start of the 2nd Caribbean Open Taekwon-Do Federation Championships held in the Grenada Grand Beach Hotel and Conference Centre in Grenada, West Indies.
