ITF Mongol Taekwon-Federation was found in November,1990. The ITF Mongol Taekwon-Federation celebrated its foundation anniversary on 20th Oct.2010 in an enormous festival atmosphere.
ITF Delegation attended this historical ceremony with Prof.Ph.D.Chang Ung and Mr.Ri Yong Son and Mr.Kim Cholgyu from 18th to 21st Oct.2010.

During this stay Prof.Ph.D.Chang Ung met His Excellecy Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolian Republic, Mr. Luvsanbandan Bold, Defense Minister, Mr. Sambuu Lambaa, Health Minister, Mr.D. Surenkhorloo, Director General of Physical culture ministry, Mr.Sh. Magvan, Honorary IOC member and other high profile figures.
At these meeting Prof.Ph.D.Chang Ung rendered a full explanation about the ITF and Taekwon-Do and invited an active support to ITF Mongol Taekwon-Federation.
This ceremony was broadcast in Mongolian State TV channel.
Today ITF Mongol Taekwon-Federation enjoy its peak performance in its Taekwon-Do activity throughout the country and became one of the strongholds of ITF.
Today’s development of ITF expansion in Mongol can not be mentioned without the dedicated activities of Korean Masters, especially Master Chon Si Hwan.
Mongolian President Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj awards ITF President Prof. & Dr. Chang Ung
As published in the IOC Newsletter on 29th October 2010, Prof. & Dr. Chang Ung received the “Friendship Medal” and the “20th Anniversary Medal of the Democratic Revolution” from the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, on 19th October at the Presidential Office in Ulaanbaatar, in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Olympic and sports movement in Mongolia.
