Twenty-four staff from the World Food Program’s Asian regional office participated in an introductory self defence class conducted by Sabums Graham and Rachanok Moulden from the International Taekwon-do Federation Thailand.

On November 4th to 7th 2010 was held by the South American Taekwon-do Federation (STF) a seminar in Viñas del Mar – Chile, a Country member of this Institution. For F.E.T.R.E.CH- Federation of Taekwon-Do Republic Chile President Mr. Hugo Huerta. One of the objectives of S.T.F is keeping actualized to its members in the administrative and technical areas.

International Boxing Association appoints Prof. & Dr. Chang Ung as a member of Advisory Council

As published in the IOC Newsletter on 29th October 2010, Prof. & Dr. Chang Ung received the “Friendship Medal” and the “20th Anniversary Medal of the Democratic Revolution” from the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, on 19th October at the Presidential Office in Ulaanbaatar, in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Olympic and sports movement in Mongolia.

From 14th to 17th October 2010, the Federacion Colombiana de Taekwon-Do ITF under the leadership of Master Jorge H. Puerto, held the 3rd South American ITF Taekwon-Do Games in Bogota, Colombia. The event was audited by the ITF South American Taekwon-Do Federation STF and the ITF Pan American Taekwon-Do Council P.T.C.

The 31st National Technical Seminar was held in the Beaches of Capital City “Panaji” of Goa state which lies in the Western part of India from 04th to 07th October 2010.
Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation has celebrated its 13th Anniversary of establishment in Nepal with lunching creative programs. Black belts Dan grading, food feeding to elders, Blood Donation, Sanitation Program, anniversary ceremony and Players awarding programs scheduled from 30th July to 7th August were enclosed on auspicious occasion of 13th Anniversary.
The attendance at our first grading in the newly opened Bangkok Headquarters read somewhat like the United Nations. Students from the UK, Sweden, the USA, Thailand and Australia were present all be it in small numbers.

On May 9th,Russian the 4th international ITF Taekwon-Do Tournament for the prize of president of Pacific State University of Economics, V. Belkin was held in Pacific State University of Economics, Vladivostok, Russia.
Mr. Benjamin Evans, 2nd Degree Black Belt from New Zealand, began to work with Special Needs teaching Taekwon-Do for more than 4 years in Hawkes Bay. He is the first to set up Special Needs Taekwon-Do.
