I accepted an invitation to attend an International Black Belt Seminar hosted by the US Taekwon-do Council in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and organised by Master Orlando Vega, President of USTC.

The 6th Junior AANTA ITF Championships was held on 6th of January 2012 in the HQ of AANTA in Total 108 Junior Competitors participated to the Championships. The great work of the umpires and their collaboration during all the day of competition was thanked with the President of the All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association ITF Mr. HED MOHAMMAD SHIRZAI.

THE SEMINAR ATTRACTED 5 COUNTRIES AND OVER 100 PARTICIPANTS
GRANDMASTER PHAP LU AND GRANDMASTER BENNY S. RIVERA, WITH THE SUPPORT OF MASTER RAMON MATEO, MASTER VICTOR MARTINEZ FROM DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, MASTER REYES FROM NEW YORK, MASTER WALTER ZEDEBT AND MASTER WINIESKY FROM CANADA AND THE NEW MASTER FROM PUERTO RICO JULIO GARCIA

Senior Master Tam Fook Chee in the name if ITF has 6 years in a row taken part in the 111km kayak paddle to raise fund for the very important reason.
All monies are donated to the Arrow Bone Marrow Foundation; a charitable foundation that raises money for leukaemia research and provides support to people undergoing leukaemia treatment.

Nepal International Taekwondo-Do Federation has celebrated its 14th Anniversary of establishment in Nepal with lunching creative programs. Food feeding to elders, Blood Donation, Sanitation Program, anniversary ceremony and Players awarding programs scheduled from 5th - 7th August were enclosed on auspicious occasion of 14th Anniversary.

WARM CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE ITF MEMBERS WHO HAVE BROUGHT THE BRILLIANT ACHIEVEMENTS AT THE 17th ITF TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIP
Dear Members,
We were all very busy in this month with the outstanding efforts & contributions to make ourselves more dynamic & stronger and thus, brought ITF up to a higher stage.
As having been well known to the world, this month was most significant to all ITF members because we have fully demonstrated our might & strength as well as fully showed our skills & abilities to this globe through the l7th ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship held in Pyongyang, DPR Korea on 6-12 Sep. this year.

The Championships were held in the city of Rosary province of Santa Fe from 5th to 6th of August 2011 in the stage of the Club News All Boys. It was organized by the F.A.A.T. and controlled by the A.T.F., with the participation of 1,200 competitors from allover the country. Altogether the 24 provinces were integrated.

The 2011 'ITF Presidents Cup' International Taekwon-Do Championship was held at Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh, Scotland.

United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Centres hosted an International Instructors Course in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 6th - 8th August 2011.

After several months waiting for an audience we finally had on July 6th 2011 a meeting with Dra Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner Argentina’s President. In this occasion we delivered to her the Honorary ITF Dan certificate.

The Taekwon-Do Organization of Oaxaca Mexico ITF celebrated the seminar and selective national tournament on June 24th to 25th, 2011 in the tourist city of Huatulco Mexico.

It was a great success, all participants enjoyed it to learn more about Taekwon-Do ITF. He was supported by M. RASAMIMANANA Andriamisaina, our NGB President.

In June, the beautiful ‘spice island’ of Grenada had the opportunity to host the X Pan-Am Championships. The invitation from the Pan-Am Council to host this event was received with delight.

The “first Peace Cup ITF Taekwon-Do championships” were held at the National Olympic Committee of Afghanistan gymnasium on 27 – 29 May 2011 by Afghanistan National ITF Taekwon-Do Federation for selecting the National Junior and Senior Teams.
The championships was sanctioned and sponsored by Afghanistan National Olympic Committee and was opened to all ITF NGB’s regardless of the affiliation.

The 5th International ITF Championship USA was a great success with one hundred and eighty participants (180). The countries invited were Nepal, Uzbekistan and Puerto Rico. United States brought participants from Boston, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Florida and Ohio.

Taekwon-Do Marathon in Czech Republic
On 7th and 8th April Czech Republic has organized in Nymburk International Technical Seminar with Senior Master Hwang Ho-Yong (Chairman of ITF Technical and Educational Committee, VIII.Dan). There were 67 participants on the seminar from 8 countries (Canada, Greenland, Cyprus, Russia, Croatia, Poland, Switzerland and Czech Republic).

2nd South Asian ITF Taekwon-Do Championship successfully held Kathmandu, Nepal

The 2nd South Asian ITF Taekwon-Do Championship was successfully conducted at Indoor Sports Hall, National Sports Council, Tripurshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal from 17th to 19th March 2011. Master Rajendran conducted an Umpire Seminar on 14th March to prepare the Umpires for the above event and updated them with the latest Umpire Rules of ITF.

GREAT SUCCESSES IN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The 26th Adult, 17th Junior, 3rd Veteran and 1st Children European Championship took place in Tallinn, Estonia from 22nd to 26th Feb. this year.
Over 1000 participants from 30 countries gathered in this significant festival and this festival brought the more interesting and attraction to the world as it has been held in conjunction with the 4th International Martial Art Games.
As all of you were well aware, Tallinn, the Capital of Estonia, was selected as the “European Capital of Culture” this year.
