On 10th of July 2008, the celebration party of the Senior Vice-President, Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha’s 70th birthday was held at the restaurant of the Koryo Hotel in Pyongyang, DPRKorea, hosted by Korea Taekwon-Do Committee.

At the party participated Ms. Alexandra Rhee, the daughter of Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, Mr.Simon Rhee, the son of Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, Mr. Hwang Bongyong, the Chairman of the Korea Taekwon-Do Committee, Mr. Ryu Songil, the Vice-President of the the Korea Taekwon-Do Committee including some Korean Senior Masters and Mr. Kim Cholgyu, ITF Treasurer, Senior Master Ri Yongsok, the Chairman of the ITF Technical committee, Senior Master Hwang Hoyong, the Chairman of the ITF Education Committee.

Under the traditional Korean folk custom the party started with the traditional Korean-style celebratory drink-offering ceremony.

On the part of the family, Ms. Alexandra Rhee ,Simon Rhee, on behalf of the entire ITF family Mr. Kim Cholgyu, ITF Treasurer, on behalf of the Korea Taekwon-Do Committee and Mr. Hwang Bongyong, the Chairman of the Korea Taekwon-Do Committee offered a celebratory drink in wish of a longevity and a happy and healthy life of the Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha.

At the party on behalf of the Korea Taekwon-Do Committee, Mr. Hwang Bongyong made a congratulatory speech, followed by return address of the Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha.

During the party all the participants exchanged their elebratory talks in the reminiscences of Gen. Choi Hong Hi’s life time and Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha’s pioneering activities for ITF.
