International Master Seminar of International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) in Beijing, China from 9th to 12th April,2010

International Master Seminar of International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) was held successfully between April 9th and 12th, 2010 at the Wisdom Valley Digital Theater, Renmin University of China, hosted by International Taekwondo Federation (ITF).

This excellent event was organized and supported by School of Education & Training, Renmin University of China, Herong Holdings Group Co., Ltd, China-Canada International Training Center ,School of Education & Training, Renmin University of China, Canada Longevity International Enterprises Co., Ltd and Beijing Longevity Digital Production Co., Ltd, China Olympic Sports Industry Co., Ltd and AST Beijing Co., Ltd


On April 9th, 2010, there was Seminar Opening ceremony with the welcome speeches by Mr. Li Xiang, Dean and Professor of School of Education & Training, Renmin University of China,
Prof. HU, Bo, Executive Director of China-Canada International Training Center,School of Education & Training, Renmin University of China and
Coordinating Producer and Design Supervisor for Zhang Yimou Bidding Team and the Opening and Closing Ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

These welcome speeches were followed by Awarding Ceremony by ITF and
The key-note Speeches by Prof. Ung Chang ,ITF President, IOC Member and Guest Professor, School of Education & Training, Renmin University of China.
There were also the speeches of Organizers by Mr. HONG Yuan Fu, Ms. DING, Feng Yun and Prof. May HE and the speeches of ITF
Senior members including Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, Senior Master Phap Lu, Grand Master Ricardo Desimone and Senior Master Michael Prewett.

At the evening there was the Welcome Dinner, Peking Duck Banquet.

On April 11th 2011, there were the ITF members‘ City tour of the Great Wall
and at the evening the Korean Food Dinner Banquet in a Korean Restaurant in Beijing in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the naming of Taekwon-Do created by Gen.Choi, the founder of Taekwon-Do with all seminar participants and some important figures from organizing party in attendance.

This ITF Master seminar aimed at standardizing and giving a deeper definition of all the aspects of the original Taekwon-Do techniques created by Gen.Choi, thus clarifying all the misconceptions and misunderstandings among ITF members.

Through this historical ITF Master seminar ITF had a good chance to enhance a level of ITF masters’ Taekwon-Do techniques and sustain an unique technique aspects and contents in ITF seminar, thus finally contributing to standardization and enhancement of the original ITF techniques and ITF educational system and unity of the entire ITF family.

On this occasion ITF would like again to extend the heartiest gratitude to Prof. Dean Li Xiang for his special attention paid to the preparation of this meaningful ITF Master Seminar held at the Campus of Renmin University of China and a lavish hospitality accorded to all of ITF members and Prof. May, Prof. Hu and Mr. Hong Yuan Fu for their splendid workshop for arranging this Seminar and the logistic support to this event.

Korea Taekwon-Do Committee work team including Senior Master Hwang Ho Yong, Technical Committee Chariman of ITF and Senior Master Kim Ung Chol, Tournament Committee Chairman of ITF made a great study and endeavor in a preparation of this successful seminar.
