Seminar and International Instructor Course conducted by Grandmaster Phap Lu in Melbourne, Australia, 18th-20th January 2013

The recent seminar and IIC conducted by Grandmaster Phap Lu in Melbourne from 18-20 January was a brilliant success. The Grandmaster shared his knowledge and wisdom of Taekwon-Do, his memories of General Choi and his thoughts and ideas on how Taekwon-Do can progress.
During the course, the Grandmaster also raised the awareness and importance about how the younger generations of Taekwon-Do practitioners can build a more peaceful world by developing the "Do" through meditation; an important component of Taekwon-Do that General Choi could not complete during his time. During the celebratory dinner, the Grandmaster invited all students to participate in an open forum to discuss Taekwon-Do. Again, another well received act from the Grandmaster. On a technical note and achievement, the Grandmaster was very pleased with the overall standard of techniques in Australia and also very happy that he was able to teach all the way to Tong Il.
However, still reinforcing that daily training of patterns are required by all to improve technique and to provide proper mind and body conditioning.
