As all of you know well, the 10th Year Memorial Service for late Gen. Choi Hong Hi has taken place in Pyongyang, DPR Korea on 15th Jun. 2012, where Gen. Choi Hong Hi, the Founder of Taekwon-Do, rests in peace.
Present at this ceremony were Mrs. Choi Chun Hi, the Widow of late Gen. Choi Hong Hi, Prof. & Dr. Chang Ung, the ITF President, and the Masters & Instructors of Korean Taekwon-Do Committee.
And many Masters, Instructors and students across the world have also joined this ceremony and paid their respects & tributes to our Father Gen. Choi Hong Hi, visiting his Tomb personally on that day.
The Korean Taekwon-Do Committee hosted this event successfully under the great support of the DPR Korean Government, and ITF, on behalf of its entire members, would like to extend the sincere thanks & appreciations to the DPR Korean Government and the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee for their sustained attention and dynamic support to ITF.
Followed by this ceremony, the participants had an opportunity to look around the Taekwon-Do Holy Centre where had newly been constructed & opened in last Apr. this year and enjoyed the DEMONSTRATION performed by Masters and Instructors of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee.
Thus, Gen. Choi Hong Hi will always stay with us and our respects & loyalty to him will go forever.
